Description

Our Rose Soil is an extremely high quality soil designed to help roses perform optimally, but it is also truly multi-purpose in nature in terms working well as a premium soil for raised beds where a wide variety of blooming plants such as roses, azaleas, camellias, other blooming shrubs, perennials and seasonal color might be planted.

This soil can also be used for large pots planted with a wide variety of ornamental plants needing a medium-weight soil. Use the Heirloom Soils The Works Potting Soil for ornamental plants needing a lighter potting soil.

Fertilization:

Fertilize each spring and fall with a well balanced organic fertilizer such as Microlife 6-2-4 at the rate of 2-3 lb.s per 100 sq.ft or use Microlife Ultimate for plants with higher plant nutrition needs.

Mulch:

Maintain a 2.5-3” layer of Heirloom Soils Composted Hardwood Mulch year-round.
